WHAT CONDITIONS ARE NECESSARY TO PLANT GARLIC

Starting to grow plants either by hobby or by using the plant constantly and wanting to save money in the market or simply prefer to harvest to get the result first hand, not only comes from thinking, but about conducting a preliminary study before you get a disaster, wasting your time invested, plus the material spent.

You don’t have to be an expert to experiment in the world of cultivation, anyone can create a small crop in the garden, with the help of the necessary seeds, source of water, a sunny place and especially time, although not all plants require all this, some on the contrary require cold or rainy climates to bear fruit, and others require climates that go from tropics to hot, achieving the final crop acts to be ingested.

In order to know the management of the plants, their proper care and harvesting, it is necessary to have a basic knowledge in botany, such as patience, dedication and above all, love for the area, to dedicate effort and have a promising result. Documenting a record with the results, only in the case of having several plants.

If you only want to plant a single crop, that is, grow a single plant, either because you don’t have an optimal climate for other products to bear fruit, or you don’t have enough space for several crops, garlic is recommended as the first option because of the amount of benefits provided to the human body, ingesting a raw head daily in a state of fasting gives a person healing properties and potentially improves both health and physical appearance.

Before you start planting and begin to buy the materials you must make a preliminary study of the materials that will be needed and what is the right environment for it, it is mandatory to know if the climate is favorable for the plant to be cultivated and of course make some calculations to check if the soil that will be used is a fertile soil or you will lose the seeds.

In this context, the weather conditions for garlic are those regions with a climate that is too warm or, on the contrary, the rains are not the most optimal or appropriate climate to begin the cultivation. In the first period of the plant or in the middle of the crop, a cold climate of temperatures from 0°C to 15oC is required. This is the temperature indicated so that they begin to develop the vegetative process, initiating the formation of buds.

The garlic plant has two to three hours, once sprouted, it can withstand high temperatures up to over 400c, as long as the soil where it was planted contains moisture, or hydrate constantly.

There are different types of fresh garlic, among the plant material, two types of garlic are known: The popular white garlic, of good conservation and productivity, more demanded in the market. On the other hand, pink garlic, unlike white, it is more precocious, and its conservation is not all good. Sometimes they tend to take on the reddish color.

The cultivation shared with other plants is very delicate, the weather conditions for garlic must be followed to the letter, it must not be planted simultaneously with onions or any species belonging to the Liliaceae family, this family is known for having too big flowers. It is necessary to know the previous crop, since it may interfere with the present crop, in the case of garlic, is not compatible with spinach, peas, alfalfa, beetroot, beans, not even after you’ve pulled up a vineyard.
